Virginia Peanut Pie 

Ingredients: – 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust – 1 cup roasted peanuts, chopped – 3 large egg – 1 cup light corn syrup

– 1/2 cup granulated sugar – 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar – 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). 2. Place the unbaked pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and crimp the edges as desired. 3. Spread the chopped peanuts evenly over the bottom of the pie crust.

1. In a medium bowl, beat the eggs lightly. 2. Add the corn syrup, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt to the beaten eggs. Mix until well combined.

1. Pour the filling mixture over the peanuts in the pie crust. 2. Place the pie on a baking sheet to catch any drips, then transfer it to the preheated oven.
