Sweet Serenade Sweet Potato Pie 

Ingredients: – 1 1/2 cups mashed sweet potatoes (about 2 medium sweet potatoes) – 3/4 cup granulated sugar – 1/2 cup milk (whole milk or evaporated milk work well)

– 2 eggs, beaten – 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon – 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg – 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). 2. Start by baking or boiling sweet potatoes until they're tender. Once cooled, peel and mash them until smooth.

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed sweet potatoes, sugar, milk, beaten eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix until well combined. 2. Place the unbaked pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish. Crimp the edges as desired.

1. Pour the sweet potato filling into the pie crust, spreading it out evenly. 2. Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the filling is set and a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.

Once baked, remove the pie from the oven and let it cool completely on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
