Smoked-Almond Cheese Toasts 

Ingredients: – 1 loaf of French bread or baguette, sliced into 1/2 inch thick slice – 1 cup smoked almonds, chopped – 1 cup shredded Gruyere cheese – 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

– 1/4 cup mayonnaise – 1/4 cup sour cream – 2 cloves garlic, minced – 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard – 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped – Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the bread slices on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven until lightly golden, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.

In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped smoked almonds, shredded Gruyere cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Spread a generous amount of the cheese and almond mixture onto each toasted bread slice, covering the entire surface.

Return the topped bread slices to the oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

1. Once done, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. 2. Serve the smoked-almond cheese toasts warm as an appetizer or snack. Enjoy!
