Pecan Pie without Corn Syrup

Ingredients 2 large eggs, at room temperature 1 cup light brown sugar ½ cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled ¼ cup white sugar

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon milk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 cup chopped pecans 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell

Directions Compile every component. Raise the oven's temperature to 400°F, or 205°C.

In a large bowl, whisk eggs until frothy. Add melted butter and whisk. Whisk together the flour, white sugar, and brown sugar until thoroughly blended.

Stir in pecans after adding the milk and vanilla. Fill pie shell with mixture; sprinkle pecan halves on top.

Bake for ten minutes in a preheated oven. After 30 to 40 minutes of baking, lower the heat to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius) and continue until the filling is set.

Before serving, take out of the oven and let cool to room temperature.
