Chocolate Black Bean Smoothies

Ingredients 1 cup fat-free plain Greek yogurt 1/2 cup canned no-salt-added black beans, rinsed and drained 1/2 cup mashed ripe banana

4 pitted dried plums (prunes) 3 tablespoons maple syrup 2 tablespoons baking cocoa 1 tablespoon creamy natural peanut butter Dash ground cinnamon

Instructions: 1. Place the drained and rinsed black beans, ripe banana, cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, milk, and vanilla extract into a blender.

1. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If the consistency is too thick, you can add a little more milk to reach your desired thickness.

1. Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more honey or maple syrup. 2. If you prefer a colder smoothie, you can add a few ice cubes to the blender and blend until they're crushed and incorporated.

1. Once everything is blended to your liking, pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.
