Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients: – 6 slices of bread, cubed – 1 lb breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled – 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese – 6 large egg – 2 cups milk

– 1 teaspoon mustard powder – 1/2 teaspoon salt – 1/4 teaspoon black pepper – Optional toppings: diced bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, spinach

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Spread the cubed bread evenly in the bottom of the baking dish. Top with cooked breakfast sausage and shredded cheddar cheese.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, mustard powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Pour the egg mixture evenly over the bread, sausage, and cheese in the baking dish. Press down lightly with a spatula to ensure the bread is soaked in the egg mixture.

If desired, add optional toppings such as diced bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, or spinach on top of the casserole.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
