Baked Ziti

Ingredients 1 pound dry ziti pasta 1 onion, chopped 1 pound lean ground beef 2 (26 ounce) jars spaghetti sauce

6 ounces provolone cheese, sliced 1 ½ cups sour cream 6 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Directions Heavily salted water in a large saucepan should be brought to a boil. Add the ziti pasta and simmer for about 8 minutes, or until al dente; drain.  

Concurrently, heat a large skillet over medium heat and brown the ground beef and onion. Add the spaghetti sauce and let it simmer for fifteen minutes.  

Turn the oven on to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.  

Line the bottom of the prepared dish with half of the ziti; cover with the remaining ziti, mozzarella cheese, sour cream, half of the meat sauce, and Provolone cheese. Add grated Parmesan cheese on top.  

Bake for about 30 minutes, or until thoroughly cooked and cheeses are melted, in a preheated oven.
